Why “Soulfege”?
The name “Soulfege” was inspired by the musical term solfege which refers to a method used to teach pitch and sight singing using the syllables (do, re, mi, fa, so, la and ti) representing the seven principal pitches of the major scale.
I wanted a name that represented music but was also creative while capturing a deeper meaning. Spelling “Solfege” with “Soul” fit the bill. I believe music should come from the soul and be fuel for the soul.
